Attune Terms of Service

1. Purpose of the service

Attune ("Service") is a wellness app that provides an EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)-informed AI coach to help users notice and express emotions and repair relationships. It is not a medical service and does not substitute for clinical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18+ to sign up and use the Service.
  • In emergencies (risk of self-harm or harm to others) use emergency resources first, not the Service.
  • Couple features may be restricted if we detect intimate-partner violence, stalking, or surveillance signals.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for protecting your credentials.
  • Do not transfer or share your account.
  • We may suspend an account without prior notice if abnormal access is detected.

4. Subscriptions & billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store / RevenueCat and auto-renew per the purchased term.
  • Cancel any time in App Store settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds follow Apple App Store's policy.

5. Prohibited conduct

Violations may result in immediate account suspension:

  • Submitting another person's mental-health data without consent.
  • Automated scraping or bulk access.
  • Fraudulent payment or quota evasion via multiple accounts.
  • Encouraging minors to use the Service.

6. Intellectual property

  • The EFT knowledge base, prompt templates, system design, and code are the property of the Service provider.
  • You retain copyright in the conversation content you submit. We use it only as needed to operate the Service.

7. Disclaimers & liability limits

  • The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of clinical outcomes.
  • We are not liable for outages caused by war, disasters, or large-scale infrastructure failure.
  • Our liability is capped at the subscription fee paid for the current billing cycle, except where non-waivable consumer law says otherwise.

8. Termination

  • You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
  • We may terminate for a material breach.
  • Retention periods in the Privacy Policy continue to apply after termination.

9. Governing law & disputes

  • Governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes are brought before the court with jurisdiction over the user's address, subject to applicable international consumer law.
